Need the CMTR for a
heat you already have?
Every carton carries its lot marking. Send us the heat or lot number off the box and we'll return the mill test certificate for that specific production run — chemistry, mechanicals and the classification it was tested to.

General technical information
Storage and handling,
the short version.
- 01 Keep cartons sealed and dry until the electrodes go to the oven or the arc.
- 02 Hold opened low hydrogen electrodes at 250–300°F in a rod oven.
- 03 Rebake per AWS A5.1 if the covering has been exposed to moisture.
- 04 Keep MIG spools bagged when a machine sits idle — surface rust costs you feedability.
- 05 Match shielding gas to the wire. A 75/25 wire run on straight CO₂ will change your mechanicals.
